This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan for the Long Island and Metro New York area, focusing on enrollment objectives, travel itineraries, and recruitment events.
• Cultivate and sustain partnerships with high school counselors, community colleges, educational consultants, community organizations, alumni, and other key stakeholders.
• Represent USM at college fairs, high school visits, community gatherings, receptions, and a variety of recruitment activities.
• Offer personalized admissions counseling to prospective students and their families regarding academic programs, admissions criteria, financial aid, and enrollment processes.
• Assess applications and evaluate candidates for admission in accordance with University policies.
• Spearhead territory-specific yield initiatives through tailored outreach, regional events, and coordination of campus tours.
• Maintain recruitment data and activity logs within the University's CRM system and generate reports on territory performance and market dynamics.
• Travel periodically to the Portland campus for admissions training, application assessments, retreats, and significant recruitment events.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in college admissions or a closely related field.
• Experience in territory management and independent recruitment travel.
• Residence in, or willingness to relocate to, the Long Island/Metro New York area.
• Valid driver's license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
• Ability to autonomously manage an admissions territory and recruitment strategy.
• Strong skills in relationship-building, networking, and presentations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience utilizing CRM systems and data to guide recruitment strategies and enrollment decisions.
• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities while working remotely.
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory, including evenings and weekends during peak recruitment times.
• Applicants must not require Visa sponsorship support.
• Finalist candidates must provide three professional references.
• Annual salary of $45,833.33.
