• Assist with the onboarding and integration of new OpCos into Pine’s reporting framework, including chart of accounts mapping and ERP alignment.
• Provide well-organized and clear monthly reporting packages to the Group Controller, highlighting significant variances, outstanding items, and potential risks proactively.
• Participate in consolidation close discussions and contribute to management reporting.
• Support US-side diligence, purchase accounting, and integration efforts for ANZ acquisitions as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CA (Chartered Accountant) designation is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, with direct experience in managing or coordinating across multiple entities.
• Previous experience in public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier) is highly valued; audit experience is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian statutory reporting (AASB standards), GST/BAS compliance, and payroll tax frameworks.
• Familiarity with US GAAP, particularly in consolidation (ASC 810), revenue recognition (ASC 606), and foreign currency (ASC 830), or proven ability to operate in a US GAAP reporting environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (Business Central, MYOB, Acumatica, or similar); adept at navigating multiple platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail with a preference for producing clean, well-structured deliverables.
• Self-motivated and capable of working across time zones with minimal daily supervision.
• Effective and confident communicator, able to clarify accounting issues for non-accounting OpCo stakeholders and escalate relevant matters to a US-based leadership team.
• Emphasis on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
• Equal Opportunity Employer.
