This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Identify, target, and establish new partnerships with both franchised and independent motor dealers throughout the region.
• Develop and sustain a robust pipeline of potential dealer accounts.
• Perform regular field visits, engage in networking activities, and conduct outbound prospecting to create new opportunities.
• Present persuasive presentations and commercial proposals to dealer principals and senior stakeholders.
• Effectively negotiate commercial terms and onboard new dealer partners.
• Assist in conducting due diligence on prospective dealers, including FCA permissions, SAF Approved status, financial standing, complaints history, and governance, while declining opportunities that do not meet our standards.
• Increase finance penetration through quality applications and well-matched customer outcomes within newly acquired accounts.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regional opportunities to maximize growth.
• Nurture and develop relationships with existing dealer partners.
• Provide dealers with product training, process enhancements, and performance management support.
• Conduct regular account reviews to ensure robust regulatory oversight and identify opportunities for further growth.
• Ensure high levels of service and responsiveness throughout the dealer network.
• Collaborate with internal operations and support teams to deliver an exceptional partner experience.
• Oversee monitoring of dealer conduct indicators—application quality, cancellations, early settlements, complaints, and vulnerable customer handling—and respond to early warning signs.
• Gather feedback and suggestions for product enhancements to relay back to the Product team.
• Proven experience in business development or field sales within motor finance, automotive, or financial services sectors.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and fostering dealer relationships.
• A self-motivated individual capable of managing a territory independently.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial awareness coupled with effective negotiation abilities.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Familiarity with the FCA Handbook, Consumer Duty, vulnerable customer expectations, and motor finance commission/disclosure regulations.
• Established network within the automotive dealer sector.
• Experience working for a lender, broker, or captive finance organization.
• Knowledge of retail finance, stocking finance, or ancillary motor finance products.
• Proficiency in CRM and sales pipeline management.
• Experience assisting dealers in implementing Consumer Duty.
