This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Achieve or surpass set quotas and targets, while accurately forecasting weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenues.
• Engage in face-to-face meetings with customers and partners to uncover and expand opportunities.
• Contribute to team enablement, forecasting, partner updates, partner sales initiatives, and recognition programs.
• Generate and monitor leads, renewals, deal registrations, and quotes using Salesforce.com.
• Address customer satisfaction concerns and requests promptly.
• Propel sales cycles to closure and offer presales assistance.
• Collaborate with the local Channel Account Manager and reseller partner network to promote deals and ensure partner success.
• Follow up on leads generated from inbound inquiries, web sources, and corporate events.
• Carry out inbound acceptance and outbound prospecting to discover sales opportunities.
• Meet established sales activity metrics consistently.
• Lead customer presentations and demonstrations via GoToMeeting.
• Analyze and report on supported opportunities effectively.
• Act as a liaison among partners, customers, and Fortinet team members.
• Undertake additional duties and projects that support business expansion.
• Perform the role in accordance with Fortinet’s core values.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in field sales within the B2B technology sector.
• Familiarity with businesses and partners in the local area.
• Capability to conduct effective customer-facing and partner-facing meetings, followed by timely written communications.
• Demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and targets.
• Understanding of the sales cycle along with internal and external business processes.
• Ability to manage and drive sales cycles from initiation to completion, including individual quota management and forecasting.
• Ability to handle a diverse and high-volume workload.
• Skill in quickly establishing productive relationships in a dynamic, high-performance setting.
• Proficient with computers and technology.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time and activity management.
• Capacity to apply entrepreneurial strengths in a proactive, innovative manner.
• Ability to secure business while ensuring high levels of customer and partner satisfaction.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA is preferred.
