
Regional Account Executive – Specialty, Mountain West

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel territory expansion by identifying, developing, and securing new business while nurturing relationships with current accounts.
• Act as the primary account manager for healthcare providers, including physicians, genetic counselors, and their staff.
• Provide customized, consultative sales presentations to convey the benefits of GeneDx’s solutions and services.
• Organize and conduct both in-person and virtual meetings with clients.
• Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams to guarantee seamless onboarding, service delivery, and prompt resolution of customer concerns.
• Spearhead educational initiatives within the territory, which include scheduling in-office visits, regional conference events, physician lunches and dinners, and other engagement activities.
• Remain up-to-date on advancements in clinical genomics, product offerings, and the competitive landscape to effectively position GeneDx.
• Maintain a strong field presence, with an expectation of 4.5 days per week dedicated to client interactions.
• Achieve or surpass designated sales targets, KPIs, and activity metrics.
• Record customer opportunities, interactions, and updates in CRM and other business systems as necessary, while managing a target clinician development pipeline.
• Actively embody and promote GeneDx's cultural principles: adapt to change; communicate directly with empathy; fulfill commitments; be bold in vision and courageous in execution; operate with a sense of urgency.
• Showcase accountability and a robust work ethic, fostering a team-first approach.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare sales, ideally within a physician sales/services context, or 2+ years as a genetic counselor.
• Demonstrate strong technical aptitude and the ability to promote various service offerings while managing multiple business opportunities simultaneously.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Capable of working autonomously and effectively managing time and territorial responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
