This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• The RAE focuses on adult specialty segments, introducing and securing new business while expanding existing accounts for GeneDx.
• This role involves collaboration and problem-solving with adult specialty call points within the designated territory, engaging in consultative selling, education, and acting as the primary point of account management for physicians and their staff.
• Responsible for generating leads in the assigned territory, ensuring physician and staff satisfaction with GeneDx programs and services, and coordinating sales/service activities among GeneDx team members.
• Works in conjunction with operations to guarantee consistent follow-up and prompt issue resolution.
• Executes established sales and marketing strategies and actively participates in development events such as physician dinners and special occasions.
• Actively manages a physician development pipeline to prospect and establish new physicians, effectively communicating and illustrating value propositions.
• Consultatively promotes GeneDx services, assesses customer needs and requirements, and makes recommendations to physicians and staff regarding the various solutions GeneDx offers.
• Conducts both in-person and virtual client meetings, with an expectation of 4.5 field days per week.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years in healthcare sales, ideally within a physician sales/services environment, or 2+ years of experience as a genetic counselor.
• Preferred experience in neurology, immunology, rheumatology, or other specialty segments in the adult healthcare setting.
• A strong technical aptitude with a proven ability to promote multiple service offerings and business opportunities simultaneously.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
