Regenerative Agriculture Carbon Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee carbon-related components in regenerative agriculture initiatives

• Create and assess data collection methodologies at the field level

• Compute carbon emissions utilizing quantification tools

• Formulate strategies for data gathering and analyze reduction opportunities

• Offer technical assistance and create monitoring frameworks

• Educate teams on carbon emissions and data gathering techniques

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in environmental/resource management or agricultural development

• 5-8 years of experience in carbon-related issues in agriculture

• Extensive project management experience across various regions and time zones

• Background in designing and quantifying carbon reduction projects within the agricultural sector

• Demonstrated proficiency with GHG LSRG and other pertinent carbon accounting tools

• Strong capability to work autonomously as well as in collaboration with project teams

• Proficient in English; knowledge of Spanish and French is a plus
