Refrigeration Construction Foreman

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Supervise and manage refrigeration installation teams on commercial projects.

• Oversee the installation of rack refrigeration systems, including piping, equipment, controls, and related components.

• Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and refrigeration installation schematics.

• Coordinate daily activities on the job site, including manpower, materials, and equipment management.

• Ensure that installations comply with project specifications, quality standards, and relevant codes.

• Identify and resolve installation challenges in the field.

• Collaborate closely with project managers, general contractors, customers, and other trades.

• Train, guide, and hold crew members accountable for quality and productivity.

• Monitor project progress, providing updates, reporting delays, and identifying material needs.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment on the job site.

• Perform hands-on installation tasks as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in commercial rack refrigeration installation — REQUIRED.

• Demonstrated experience in leading refrigeration installation teams.

• Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems and installation methodologies.

• Ability to read and comprehend refrigeration plans, drawings, and specifications.

• Solid understanding of refrigeration piping, brazing, equipment installation, and system components.

• Competent in troubleshooting installation issues and making informed decisions in the field.

• Comfortable working in dynamic commercial construction environments.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Willingness and ability to travel across the Carolinas and Virginia.
