This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Deliver administrative assistance to the Value Driven Referrals team in a virtual environment.
• Compile and generate reports and documents.
• Manage electronic data and handle medical records efficiently.
• Ensure quality control of all data and documentation.
• Review daily reports to accurately track and route incoming referrals based on client VDR access.
• Conduct precise data entry in Salesforce.
• Reach out to healthcare providers to acquire confidential patient medical records.
• Communicate with healthcare providers for updates on referrals.
• Organize and manage items in the chart/EMR inbox.
• Contact relevant providers promptly and prioritize urgent requests.
• Support Value Driven Referrals leadership with various administrative tasks as necessary.
• Ensure the quality control of data, correspondence, and documentation.
• Handle medical and sensitive information securely, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
• High School Diploma is mandatory.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, contact centers, administrative roles, or a comparable mix of education and experience.
• Preferred: 6 months or more of experience in a healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with Privacy Act and HIPAA Privacy Rule standards is preferred.
• Experience working remotely in a virtual setting is advantageous.
• Proficient technical skills in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to convey medical discussions with clients, patients, business leaders, and professionals.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Competence in prioritizing tasks, executing plans, and meeting deadlines.
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
• Proven track record of collaborating with employees, stakeholders, clients, vendors, and guests.
• Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
