Referral Coordinator, OPO – Transplant Center Experience Preferred

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assess and respond to hospital referrals concerning potential organ/tissue donors.

• Implement LifeLink’s policies while performing and recording referrals.

• Effectively communicate with hospitals, AOC, MDOC, and other management personnel.

• Take part in the call schedule rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage.

• Monitor daily referrals and keep accurate documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of one year in a relevant LifeLink role and/or suitable credentials and experience, which may include a medical-related degree/certification (RN) or relevant experience in a healthcare setting.

• Fulfillment of all requirements for the probationary level position or other pertinent experience/position.

• Proven above-average verbal communication and phone etiquette skills.

• Availability to manage a rotation of 24/7 call responsibilities and a work schedule that may necessitate responding to emergency backup calls.

• Awareness that confidentiality must be upheld in accordance with Foundation protocols.
