• Identify and engage passive candidates who are not actively job hunting, craft personalized outreach messages, and successfully convert them into applicants.
• Oversee the management of incoming applications from platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and our ATS (Ashby), ensuring that every candidate is progressed or declined within 48 hours.
• Conduct initial screening interviews (via phone or video) utilizing NORY's structured interview framework.
• Monitor and report weekly recruiting metrics, including applicants by source, time-to-screen, screen-to-offer ratios, and pass-through rates at each stage.
• Facilitate scheduling between candidates and hiring managers to ensure smooth communication.
• Keep a "warm bench" of top candidates for potential future openings.
• A minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, either in-house or at an agency, with a proven ability to source passive candidates rather than merely processing incoming applications.
• Capability to write engaging outreach messages that elicit responses, with real examples to demonstrate your success.
• Familiarity with at least one modern applicant tracking system (such as Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever) and confidence in using LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Highly organized, ensuring that no detail falls through the cracks; you rely on systems rather than memory.
• Commitment to honesty regarding candidate quality, preferring to communicate "no suitable candidates this week" instead of advancing a weak applicant.
