This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.
• Manages recruitment and selection processes for designated programs and positions.
• Prepares and publishes job announcements and postings on job boards.
• Develops and implements job-related selection procedures.
• Addresses inquiries and concerns from applicants and candidates using the applicant tracking system, ADP.
• Conducts pre-screening calls and interviews.
• Assists in formulating questions to be utilized during all interview sessions.
• Invites candidates and panel members to partake in interviews.
• Organizes or arranges virtual interview meetings.
• Advises current employees and applicants on job opportunities and the selection process.
• Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to gather feedback on the recruitment process.
• Ensures candidate activities and statuses are updated in the applicant tracking system.
• Reviews, monitors, and screens applications, resumes, and supporting documents submitted by applicants.
• Completes all pre-employment tasks, including but not limited to background checks, reference checks, verification of I-9 documentation, and payroll paperwork.
• Collaborates with IT on technology access, including request forms and our ATS system.
• Initiates thank-you letters for applicants not selected for interviews.
• Disposes of remaining candidates in the applicant tracking system for each job posting.
• Processes day-to-day changes in employee status.
• Assists the HR team with various administrative tasks, including the management of personnel files.
• May require occasional travel to the team office in Pennsylvania and/or San Diego.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role or in commercial insurance recruiting.
• A degree in Business Administration is preferred.
• Experience with 360 recruiting is required.
• A Property and Casualty license is preferred but not mandatory.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in utilizing various social media platforms.
• Ability to engage effectively with all applicants and staff members, demonstrating tact, diplomacy, and patience at all times.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to conduct professional interviews and maintain a positive and professional image.
• Must be capable of working in a dedicated remote environment free from distractions, with the ability to conduct interviews and participate in meetings via video conferencing.
