Emerging Talent Recruiter – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive recruitment process for a variety of internship positions, ensuring a streamlined, engaging, and inclusive journey for each candidate.

• Develop, plan, and execute captivating university events, tech talks, hackathons, and sponsorships for competitions that enhance Zipline’s brand presence.

• Establish reliable partnerships with hiring managers and business leaders to align on recruitment needs, clarify role specifications, and assist them throughout the interview processes and candidate selection.

• Travel to universities and significant industry competitions to connect directly with students, promote Zipline's mission, and actively seek out top-tier talent.

• Maintain accurate and current recruiting data in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), providing regular updates on pipeline health and the return on investment for events to the recruiting leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience focused on university, early career, or emerging talent recruitment, ideally in a dynamic tech or engineering setting.

• Proven experience in planning, organizing, and executing innovative on-campus or virtual recruiting events while managing logistics efficiently.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of influencing, guiding, and fostering robust relationships with hiring managers and cross-functional teams.

• Willingness and enthusiasm to travel domestically (mainly during peak university recruitment periods) to participate in career fairs, competitions, and campus events.

• A commitment to providing an empathetic, transparent, and exceptional experience for early-career candidates navigating the job market.

• Outstanding organizational capabilities with the proficiency to manage multiple high-volume pipelines and shifting event timelines concurrently.

• The initial cash range for this contractor role is $60.00 - $65.00 per hour. Please be aware that this is a target starting cash range for candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for this position. The final cash compensation will depend on various factors, including the specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and work location.
