This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• The Recruitment Consultant serves as an autonomous, full-cycle recruiting partner for Flex HR's clients.
• Independently oversees the complete hiring lifecycle from intake to offer, managing multiple client engagements at once.
• Conducts comprehensive intake meetings with client hiring managers to clarify role scope, success criteria, compensation parameters, and cultural fit expectations.
• Formulates and implements targeted sourcing strategies utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, job boards, referrals, and other relevant channels.
• Screens, interviews, and presents qualified candidates in a professional, client-ready format that adheres to Flex HR standards.
• Assists clients in candidate evaluation, selection, offer negotiation, and pre-close processes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all parties involved.
• Keeps organized applicant tracking and recruitment documentation for each engagement.
• Acts as a trusted advisor to client leadership regarding talent strategy, hiring timelines, market conditions, and candidate availability.
• Proactively sets and manages expectations by communicating pipeline status, search challenges, and suggested adjustments in a timely and transparent manner.
• Educates clients on best practices for interviews, legal compliance in hiring, and structured evaluation methods.
• Collaborates with Flex HR's HR consultants on engagements that include both HR strategy and recruiting components, ensuring a unified and cohesive client experience.
• Represents Flex HR professionally in all client-facing interactions, upholding the quality and confidentiality standards expected from an embedded recruiting partner.
• Keeps current with labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, candidate behaviors, and recruiting technologies to provide effective client advisement.
• Stays informed about employment law developments related to hiring practices, including EEO requirements, background check compliance, and offer letter standards.
• Adopts a continuous improvement mindset by regularly assessing process efficiency, candidate quality, and client satisfaction to enhance approaches.
• Manages multiple simultaneous searches across client accounts without compromising quality, responsiveness, or attention to detail.
• Drafts engaging and accurate job postings that align with client branding and Flex HR positioning standards.
• Monitors and reports on key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, offer acceptance rates) and presents data effectively to client stakeholders.
• A Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from an accredited college or university is required; a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience is required; experience supporting multiple clients simultaneously (agency, RPO, or consulting environment) is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to recruit across various functions and levels, including professional, technical, and leadership roles.
• Proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter and at least one ATS or CRM platform.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create polished materials for both candidates and clients.
• High level of interpersonal skills and professional discretion when managing confidential candidate and client information.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities independently, meet deadlines, and self-direct in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; utilizes data to guide decisions and enhance outcomes.
• Must use a cell phone to keep track of client communications.
• Operates with integrity and professionalism in all interactions with clients, candidates, and internal teams.
• Contributes to a collaborative, positive, and solution-oriented team culture, even as an independent consultant.
• Commits to ongoing education in recruiting, HR, and talent acquisition best practices.
• Thinks critically about working smarter, solving problems creatively, and delivering genuine value to every client engagement.
• Always makes ethical decisions, including maintaining confidentiality and representing candidates and clients honestly.
