This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the complete job posting process, which includes crafting and publishing roles, monitoring the performance of postings, and closing them at the appropriate time in collaboration with the League Operations team.
• Provide support to League Coordinators with troubleshooting job postings, managing candidate flow, scheduling interviews, and gathering feedback from interviews.
• Help in the creation and distribution of offer letters using established templates and procedures.
• Initiate and monitor background checks, follow up on any missing items, and keep clear status notes with guidance from the People Ops team.
• Process the requirements for onboarding packets and ensure they are complete and submitted on time.
• Assist with I-9 verification workflows and coordinate the steps for completion and review as per internal processes.
• Track the completion of new hire training in Rippling and follow up on any gaps.
• Maintain accurate employee files and documentation standards for seasonal staff.
• Process rehires, changes in pay rates, and alterations in supervisor or league assignments.
• Aid seasonal employees with updates and troubleshooting in Rippling, including updates to personal information, bank account changes, and assistance with the mobile app.
• Support the seasonal offboarding process, including termination processing and communications in line with team guidelines.
• Conduct phone screenings for Game Day Representatives and assist in nurturing the candidate pipeline to maintain an active pool of candidates during peak season.
• Provide phone screening assistance for Foundation roles beyond Game Day Representatives.
• Support the processing of 1099 officials, including routing agreements and conducting background checks.
• Assist in the creation of training materials.
• Must have completed at least two years of college coursework and be entering either the junior or senior year.
• A genuine interest in Human Resources, Recruiting, People Operations, Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Previous internship experience, part-time employment, campus leadership roles, customer service, administrative tasks, or exposure to recruiting/HR is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with comfort.
• Capability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously while maintaining clear status tracking.
• Excellent written communication skills and follow-through with candidates and internal partners.
• Quick adaptability to learn new systems; prior experience with ATS/HRIS is preferred.
• 20-30 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, with flexible hours available between 8am and 6pm ET
• Seasonal employment, estimated from August through November
• Hourly position, FLSA Non-Exempt, with weekly pay
