This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Take charge of recruiting coordination for a large number of open positions, ensuring a consistent and well-organized hiring experience for candidates, interviewers, and hiring managers.
• Serve as the operational core of the candidate experience—scheduling, coordinating work trials, and managing offer logistics are often what candidates remember most.
• Manage our recruitment technology stack: keep our ATS (Ashby) organized and well-configured (including templates, sequences, stages, and reporting) while overseeing vendor administration.
• Assist with the offer process: send out offers, coordinate approvals, and guide candidates through logistics until their start date.
• Continuously seek ways to automate and streamline processes: leverage AI and modern tools to accelerate operations without compromising candidate experience.
• Design and oversee the onboarding experience at Linear: create an onboarding journey that is thoughtful, well-coordinated across teams, scalable, and ensures every new hire feels prepared for success from offer acceptance through their initial months.
• Ensure accuracy of people systems and data within our HRIS and ATS.
• Coordinate employee lifecycle events such as onboarding, transfers, and changes in location.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of People Operations: automate repetitive tasks, improve manual processes, and build systems that can grow with the team.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in recruiting operations, HR coordination, or people operations within a fast-paced tech environment.
• Experience in supporting employee onboarding and people programs, not limited to recruiting processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open roles and competing priorities without overlooking details or allowing candidates to lose interest.
• Practical experience with an ATS (Ashby is a plus) and HRIS systems; skilled in managing data integrity and cleanliness.
• Enthusiastic about utilizing AI tools and automation to enhance your work and improve the candidate experience.
• Experience in scaling or refining HR systems and processes, rather than merely maintaining them as they are.
• Strong, warm communicator: you leave a positive impression on candidates, even those who may not secure the role.
• High ownership mentality: you proactively identify issues and resolve them without needing to be prompted.
• Familiarity with tools like Notion, Slack, and Linear.
• Competitive salary and equity.
• Employee-friendly equity terms that include early exercise options in the US and extended exercise windows.
• Daily meal and coffee stipend on every workday.
• Paid co-working space or desk.
• Health coverage tailored to country requirements.
• Five weeks of paid vacation, in addition to local statutory holidays.
• Four months of paid parental leave.
• Paid month off after four years of service, with additional paid leave every two years thereafter.
• Regular team events and off-site gatherings.
• Remote-first work culture with no mandatory commute.
