Recruiter, Hourly Field – Central/Eastern Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish and cultivate relationships with hiring managers and HR business partners to grasp business priorities, recruiting challenges, and position requirements.

• Develop and implement flexible recruiting strategies, including sourcing, pre-qualifying, and finalizing offers.

• Identify, screen, evaluate, and interview potential candidates and provide hiring recommendations.

• Monitor recruiting outcomes and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.

• Advocate for US Foods as an employer of choice by sharing up-to-date information with candidates.

• Focus recruitment initiatives to enhance diversity representation, including referral campaigns and on-site hiring events.

• Oversee candidate slates, maintain ongoing communication, coordinate interviews, manage travel itineraries, and ensure candidate follow-up.

• Handle the offer process and monitor acceptances and declines.

• Stay updated on recruiting trends and innovative techniques to achieve hiring objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in full-lifecycle recruiting for professional roles across all levels.

• Proven experience in sourcing, assessing, qualifying, and interviewing candidates in a corporate recruiting environment.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sourcing and identifying exceptional talent using LinkedIn, social media, internet, job boards, and niche sites.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Capability to successfully conduct cold calls.

• Skilled in Boolean search techniques.

• Experience with a web-based applicant tracking system is preferred, such as Taleo or Workday.

• Previous agency experience is a plus.

• Must be able to reside within the assigned Central or Eastern Region or a bordering state.

• Willingness to travel to multiple locations as required.
