This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire staffing process in partnership with hiring managers, including identifying needs, posting job openings, screening resumes, selecting candidates, conducting phone and virtual interviews, administering pre-employment tests, and issuing employment contracts.

• Prioritize recruitment initiatives and ensure consistent follow-up on ongoing assignments.

• Communicate with candidates who were not selected regarding the status of their applications.

• Maintain candidate pools and assess candidates for future requirements.

• Identify passive candidates on LinkedIn and engage their interest.

• Exhibit expert knowledge in social media recruiting and cultivate a robust LinkedIn presence with both active and passive candidates.

• Evaluate candidates' skills in relation to business requirements.

• Provide advice and support to hiring managers during interviews and candidate selection processes.

• Recommend and implement talent attraction and acquisition strategies, including sourcing/search strategies, enhancing external visibility, and selecting appropriate recruitment channels.

• Keep informed of market trends related to job posting practices, interview templates, and psychometric testing.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in recruitment.

• Agency recruitment experience is highly preferred.

• Capability to work effectively within a team and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Exceptional ability to manage unexpected challenges and shifting priorities; adept at identifying problems and seeking solutions.

• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and rigor.

• Proactive with the ability to anticipate next steps and actions.

• Excellent client service orientation and thoroughness in follow-ups.

• Strong ethical standards and ability to maintain the confidentiality of HR information.

• Proficient and self-sufficient with Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Teams, and LinkedIn Recruiter.

• Capability to manage 15 to 20 open positions based on established recruitment priorities.

• Experience in recruiting specialized IT and engineering roles, with a focus on civil engineering and construction being an asset.

• Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English.

• Excellent spoken and written French skills.
