This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Provide an exceptional experience for candidates and clients: Ensure a smooth and positive interaction for all parties involved in the recruitment process.
• Act as a consultant and hiring advisor to all stakeholders by developing expertise in the roles, clients, candidates, and markets we engage with.
• Conduct initial intake calls with clients: Collect comprehensive information regarding job requirements and client expectations to formulate effective recruitment strategies.
• Source and evaluate candidates: Identify potential candidates through resume databases, networking platforms, social media, deep web sourcing, and other channels.
• Demonstrate an understanding of Boolean search logic.
• Conduct professional and considerate phone interviews, articulating the value proposition of the role while taking into account the candidate’s situation and interests.
• Assess selected candidates for specific roles, hiring events, and talent pool enhancement.
• Seek and follow up on referrals from business connections and internal sources.
• Utilize various communication media to engage with our talent communities (phone, email, campaigns, networking introductions, and social media).
• Monitor and provide updates on each assigned position: Maintain precise and current records of the recruitment process for each role in Orion’s systems.
• Regularly communicate with hiring leaders to involve them in the search process and keep them informed of progress.
• Maintain ongoing communication with all submitted candidates.
• Ensure that both candidates and clients are thoroughly prepared for all interviews.
• Collaborate with the Hiring Leader on job offers and present the offer to the candidate, customizing the delivery to the candidate’s motivations to ensure acceptance.
• Keep the hiring manager informed about any market changes that could affect the hiring process or talent pool.
• Assess the ease or difficulty of the job search based on market trends, our proprietary database, and historical performance.
• Document all activities through Orion's database and systems: Use company systems to record and track all recruitment actions and progress.
• Participate in base visits, job fairs, hiring conferences, or other events: Engage in various recruitment occasions to attract and connect with potential candidates.
• Demonstrated experience as a contingent or staffing recruiter.
• Strong grasp of the recruitment lifecycle and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, resume databases, and other recruitment tools.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strict adherence to all regulations (OFCCP and all other compliance standards set forth).
