This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Providing exceptional service to clients and facilitating candidate placements by implementing tailored recruiting strategies that align with client requirements.
• Representing Nelson Connects, autonomously building a client base through networking, leads, referrals, cold calls, previous clients, and other methods; consistently expanding both new and existing client relationships.
• Offering specialized recruiting expertise in areas such as general support, sales, management, and executive position placements.
• Obtaining detailed job descriptions from clients to ensure quality placements.
• Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advising clients on labor market conditions, trends, salaries, benefits, and realistic expectations in the current market environment.
• Persuasively educating clients on the services provided by the staffing unit and/or the company’s lateral staffing divisions.
• Reviewing employment applications and conducting candidate interviews to assess work history, "can-do/will-do" attributes, skills, competencies, education, training, compensation needs, and other qualifications.
• Conducting reference and background checks on candidates.
• Scheduling, conducting, and evaluating assessments for candidates.
• Assisting candidates in presenting themselves professionally by aiding in the creation of effective résumés and improving their interviewing skills.
• Advising and guiding candidates on their career objectives and goals.
• Coordinating candidate interview appointments with clients and following up with both parties regarding the interview outcomes.
• Independently negotiating pay rates and contract fees on behalf of Nelson Connects.
• Communicating candidate sourcing requirements to the Recruiting & Retention Team.
• Crafting and placing innovative advertisements to attract high-quality candidates in collaboration with the corporate Marketing Department.
• Monitoring placements, fall-offs, candidates, and clients in the relevant database. Reviewing Accounts Receivable aging files and coordinating collection efforts with the Accounts Receivable Specialist.
• Functioning independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by the manager.
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent, with one to two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 100% commission-based position.
• Recoverable annual salary draw of $70,304.
