Recovery Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Establish trusting and nonjudgmental relationships with clients through shared lived experiences.

• Utilize personal recovery experiences to provide hope, motivation, and accountability to clients.

• Work collaboratively with participants and the Holon care team to create tailored recovery plans.

• Connect clients to essential community resources, including housing, healthcare, employment, and transportation.

• Perform strengths-based assessments to determine client needs and objectives.

• Advocate for clients within the justice system, healthcare system, and other relevant settings.

• Collaborate with Care Navigators, clinicians, and judicial contacts for integrated care solutions.

• Stay updated on best practices in peer support and recovery-focused care.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

• Participate in new initiatives and engagement strategies as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A person in sustained recovery with a minimum of one year of lived experience (strongly preferred).

• Certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRS) or Peer Recovery Coach.

• Highly empathetic, possessing strong listening and communication abilities.

• Informed about the realities of recovery and the challenges clients may encounter.

• Dedicated to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards.

• Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
