This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Efficiently input, update, and retrieve patient information from electronic health record (EHR) systems.
β’ Ensure adherence to HIPAA and all pertinent healthcare data regulations.
β’ Address internal and external requests for medical records in a secure and timely fashion.
β’ Conduct regular audits of data entries to verify accuracy and completeness.
β’ Collaborate with clinical staff to rectify any discrepancies found in patient records.
β’ Aid in the digital filing, organization, and archiving of confidential documents.
β’ Monitor record requests and releases utilizing approved systems and logs.
β’ Assist with cross-departmental data requirements as instructed by management.
β’ Prior experience in data entry, medical records, or healthcare administration is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of EHR systems (such as Epic, Cerner, or similar) is advantageous.
β’ Strong focus on detail and accuracy is essential.
β’ Capability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
β’ Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
β’ High school diploma or equivalent is required (Associates degree or higher is preferred).
