Record Searcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Assist in federal background investigations by performing thorough record searches.

• Assemble investigative details into Reports of Investigation (ROIs) in line with customer specifications and federal guidelines.

• Execute both online and in-person record retrieval tasks involving law enforcement agencies, courts, educational institutions, employers, healthcare providers, and other pertinent sources.

• Accountable for acquiring, analyzing, documenting, and reporting information essential to the background investigation process while ensuring adherence to quality, timeliness, and production standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active favorable adjudicated T5, T5R, or HT DHS experience is highly preferred.

• Conduct online and in-person record searches at law enforcement agencies, courthouses, educational institutions, employers, healthcare providers, and other authorized resources.

• Retrieve and validate records relevant to federal background investigations.

• Perform database searches using approved investigative systems and tools.

• Compile results into clear, concise, and comprehensive Reports of Investigation (ROIs).

• Ensure all investigative documentation aligns with government standards, guidelines, and policies.

• Uphold confidentiality and properly protect sensitive and personally identifiable information (PII).

• Achieve established quality, timeliness, and production benchmarks.

• Respond swiftly to requests for further information or case clarifications.

• Collaborate with reviewers, investigators, and management to guarantee complete and accurate case documentation.
