Reading Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Engage in one-on-one sessions with students in grades K-6 via a secure online platform.

• Implement a curriculum developed by our team.

• Facilitate 25-minute instructional sessions.

• Establish trusting relationships with students who are struggling with reading.

• Balance direct instruction with meaningful engagement with texts.

• Participate in continuous training and support opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a current or expired K–6 teaching certification (must submit a copy).

• Experience teaching in a K-6 classroom with an emphasis on reading.

• Strong knowledge of the Science of Reading, including phonics, structured literacy, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension instruction.

• Availability for a minimum of 3 hours Monday through Thursday during peak hours (10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. ET), at least 4 days per week.

• Commitment to providing at least 10 consistent hours of service each week.

• U.S. work authorization, a U.S. mailing address, and the ability to receive payments via U.S. bank deposits.
