React JS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop new applications and services within an agile and collaborative setting.

• As a part of the scrum team, engage in innovative solutions related to software testing, development, operations, and maintenance.

• Contribute to the creation or upkeep of existing services, systems, databases, and applications.

• Develop software systems, along with testing and validating procedures.

• Collaborate with a team to leverage new technologies for modernizing and enhancing both internally developed and existing software for our clients.

• Assist in the analysis, design, and ongoing development of software architecture, including the application of design patterns.

• Code and test significant features while collaborating with team members to deliver complex changes within tight deadlines.

• Actively engage in designing and evolving our IT landscape concerning software development and testing.

• Perform code cleaning and optimization.

• Prepare technical specifications and documentation.

• Provide regular and proactive updates to your line manager about your progress.

• Demonstrate a commitment to Continuous Improvement (CI) / Continuous Development (CD).

• Embrace continuous learning, quickly adapt, and evolve.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams as necessary to define, implement, and deliver end-user functionality.

• Complete training and tutorials to acquire new languages and skills that better support clients; research best practices and understand code structure and organization.

• Identify issues with current code and proactively recommend changes to avert future challenges.

• Gather domain knowledge about existing clients and projects to assist with their ongoing needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in React.js development.

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, including DOM Manipulation and JavaScript Object Model.

• Comprehensive understanding of React.js and its core principles, preferably including modern features like Hooks.

• Experience with popular React.js state management tools such as Flux and Redux.

• Familiarity with REACT tools like Webpack and Enzyme.

• Knowledge of the latest ECMAScript specifications.

• Practical experience with Call stack, Page load time, UI performance enhancement, Cross network API consumption, Authorization tokens, etc.

• Hands-on experience with other client-side technologies and frameworks is an advantage.

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions to address them.

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools such as Webpack, Babel, NPM, etc.
