R&D Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a member of a team of elite engineers focused on developing ScaleOps’ primary product.

• Create a Kubernetes resource management platform designed to enhance the productivity of DevOps teams.

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, container technologies, and cloud-native infrastructure.

• Write production-level code in Go while gaining insights into Kubernetes internals.

• Engage with Istio, Helm, Prometheus, container orchestration, microservices architecture, and cloud-native applications.

• Address intricate engineering challenges and spearhead innovation in Kubernetes optimization.

• Take ownership of significant technical projects with a level of autonomy and responsibility.

• Work alongside engineers in a dynamic, innovation-focused environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of practical software engineering experience in developing complex, technically demanding, large-scale systems.

• Extensive experience in creating cloud-based applications.

• Strong grasp of cloud-native technologies, particularly containers and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in Go, backend systems, distributed systems, infrastructure, or related technologies.

• A degree in Computer Science from a prestigious academic institution or relevant experience as a Software Engineer in an IDF technological unit.

• A collaborative approach to software engineering.

• Capability to take ownership and resolve complex technical challenges.

• Enthusiasm for contributing to ScaleOps’ core product and influencing the company’s future direction.
