RCM Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist RCM Account Managers with client inquiries while identifying opportunities for enhancement.

• Supervise and coach a diverse team of offshore members.

• Handle intricate denial follow-ups and appeals, and support accounts receivable management and payment posting processes.

• Identify, investigate, and resolve unpaid claims efficiently.

• Research and address discrepancies in payments and adjustments.

• Submit reconsiderations and appeals for claims.

• Investigate payer policies thoroughly.

• Address patient inquiries and confirm insurance coverage.

• Present reports to Account Managers detailing offshore KPIs and the status of accounts receivable health.

• Perform additional tasks as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or a similar role.

• Required experience in offshore management and collaboration.

• Knowledge of referrals, pre-authorizations, eligibility and benefits verification, and insurance billing.

• Ability to manage critical deadlines with a strong attention to detail.

• Task-oriented individual capable of excelling in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

• Proven capability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.

• Analytical thinker with a strong problem-solving ability.

• Capacity to escalate issues to the appropriate individual or department.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills with Accounts Receivable Specialists, insurance companies, patients, and leadership.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
