RCM Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Execute the complete billing process, ensuring precise invoicing, thorough documentation, and prompt collection of payments.

• Recognize and implement enhancements in billing workflows to minimize processing duration, eliminate inaccuracies, and boost efficiency.

• Suggest system or procedural upgrades to enhance speed and precision.

• Act as a primary contact for intricate billing inquiries, issues, and disputes that necessitate advanced problem-solving or technical skills.

• Prepare, analyze, and deliver accounts receivable reports along with daily, weekly, and monthly financial summaries.

• Track KPIs, SLAs, month-to-date goals, and overall productivity.

• Present insights to management on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

• Examine trends in accounts receivable issues and improve operations within the revenue cycle.

• Support initiatives aimed at enhancing billing accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency through process improvements and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in accounts receivable and revenue cycle management.

• Knowledge of credentialing and various health center operations.

• Expertise in revenue cycle management systems, workflow automation tools, and data analytics for accounts receivable monitoring.

• Understanding of HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and payer regulations.

• Capability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• High degree of accuracy along with the ability to prioritize and maintain focus in a fast-paced setting.

• Experience in both Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and Community Health Centers is preferred.

• Previous experience with ECW is preferred.
