This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee a designated sales territory
• Reside within the assigned territory
• Manage and enhance business within current Ambry accounts
• Increase menu usage in existing accounts
• Market genetic diagnostic testing services to prospective clients
• Negotiate and oversee contracts
• Introduce innovative testing products
• Cultivate demand for and encourage adoption of new assays
• Create and execute action plans tailored to customers
• Design and present engaging presentations
• Organize and support trade shows
• Maintain customer data within the company database
• Meet and exceed sales targets
• Perform additional duties as required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in selling laboratory services to clinicians and hospitals or in medical device sales
• Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent years of experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experienced with CRM platforms such as com or Microsoft CRM
• Proven sales success across a wide range of laboratory testing for various medical specialties
• Capability to sell technically complex products
• Expertise in demand generation across a large geographical area
• Strengths in networking and building professional relationships
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Some formal training in sales methodologies such as SPIN Selling or PSS
• Strong skills in time management and territory oversight
• Hold and maintain a valid driver's license unless otherwise agreed
