This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Identify and seek out new business prospects.
• Build and sustain a strong sales pipeline to meet revenue objectives.
• Target industrial, commercial, and governmental clients with regulated waste requirements.
• Suggest disposal, recycling, and treatment options.
• Create pricing, proposals, and contractual agreements.
• Deliver customized proposals that meet regulatory and business standards.
• Formulate and execute strategic plans and market analyses in collaboration with Area and Corporate Teams, utilizing current market insights to attract and secure new customers.
• Serve as a liaison between National Accounts, Area Account Executives, and other strategic sales initiatives by engaging in open communication and participating in the sales approach for targeted, complex customer segments.
• Collaborate with key internal executives and technical staff within Republic Services Corporate and Field Area groups to cultivate a strong network of partnerships and support.
• Act as the capture lead for strategic initiatives, partnering with Technical and Transportation teams, as well as National Account and field teams, to implement a well-defined and highly collaborative pursuit strategy for designated regional and/or national prospects.
• Work alongside Environmental Solutions Customer Support, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure successful onboarding of new clients.
• Prepare and deliver a diverse range of persuasive sales presentations to various levels and environments within the prospective organization.
• Effectively manage follow-ups and negotiations with key leaders in client organizations.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the legal aspects of customer contracts and engage in contract negotiations, including collaboration with legal review.
• Cultivate and sustain a heightened awareness of market dynamics, emerging opportunities, and competitive trends.
• Facilitate the collection and communication of customer data for the organization.
• Retain a thorough working knowledge of the company’s current products and services, pricing structures, contract management parameters, policies, and procedures.
• Travel, including occasional overnight trips, as necessary.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned or evident.
• Experience in government contracting, procurement, and services/product acquisitions.
• Background in public or private sectors with radiological waste generators and/or brokers.
• Familiarity with bidding processes involving 8A contracts and awards.
• Understanding of the radioactive shipping and transportation landscape (both rail and trucking) is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of the national hazardous waste disposal and transportation landscape (both rail and trucking) is also highly desirable.
• A proven history of generating new business opportunities in the Environmental Field.
• Strong technical knowledge with an extensive grasp of environmental solutions and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation abilities and the capacity to produce high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
