
Quarterly Planning and Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Organize quarterly program increment planning events to ensure teams are aligned on a common mission, objectives, and delivery commitments every quarter.
• Facilitate inspect & adapt workshops, conducting both quantitative and qualitative retrospectives while implementing improvement ideas.
• Monitor and communicate metrics such as completion rates and program predictability to enhance transparency and foster continuous improvement.
• Oversee comprehensive program delivery by collaborating across various teams and functions, adapting methodologies as necessary, including Agile, hybrid, and data platform-specific workflows.
• Develop, maintain, and take ownership of the committed project plan and schedule, which is separate from the product roadmap, ensuring that milestones are achieved with transparency and diligence.
• Promote the adoption and advancement of product planning practices throughout the organization.
• Utilize a hybrid toolkit comprising technical project management, agile delivery, and business analysis to meet the specific requirements of each workstream.
• Apply technical project management expertise to tackle engineering and AI challenges, collaborating closely with technical leads and data scientists to track development progress and ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution.
• Collaborate with Analytics leaders to establish annual KPI objectives for continuous year-on-year improvements. Actively measure and report on these KPIs, partnering with technical teams to identify root causes, implement retrospective actions, and recognize risks and countermeasures.
• 5-8 years of experience in project management.
• Highly accountable, you take ownership of your commitments, follow through independently, and expect the same level of responsibility from others.
• A proactive self-starter who can work with minimal guidance, determine necessary next steps, and act without waiting for instructions.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex program statuses into clear, concise updates for leadership audiences, in both written and verbal forms.
• Experience in technology-driven environments (software development, IT, or data) with a proven ability to connect business objectives with technical execution.
• Proficiency in SAFe is a plus, along with a general proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies; familiarity with tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar SDLC and PM tools.
• Proven experience applying AI tools within program and project management workflows, with a history of actively seeking and incorporating emerging AI capabilities to enhance team productivity and decision-making.
• Strong discipline in RAID management, schedule oversight, budget tracking, and the ability to focus on details while maintaining an overall perspective.
• Comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; PMP certification is an advantage.
