This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become an expert on IonQ’s user-oriented quantum computing software, production systems, and ecosystem integrations.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and software/system operations teams by addressing user inquiries, resolving incidents, and aiding in internal investigations.

• Offer technical implementation advice regarding platform administration, software integration, workflow orchestration, and related areas.

• Conduct onboarding sessions for new users of IonQ.

• Gather customer feedback and feature requests, pinpoint technical challenges, and advocate for enhancements to the product.

• Assist in the creation of developer documentation, training materials, feature demonstrations, and enablement resources.

• Support internal tools, metrics, and processes for tracking customer product usage and success requirements.

• Engage in onsite customer interactions, industry events, and other related activities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, particularly with a computational emphasis, OR equivalent graduate-level training or hands-on experience in a computational or quantitative field.

• Over 5 years of experience in technical customer-facing positions or similar roles, demonstrating a successful history of performance and goal fulfillment.

• Experience in user support, developer relations, solutions engineering, or other technical user-enablement functions.

• Practical experience with Python and Jupyter Notebook, Google Colab, or comparable platforms.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to business stakeholders and technical experts across various domains.

• U.S. Person status or qualifying U.S. immigration status may be necessary for compliance with export controls and government contracts.

• Preferred: PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

• Preferred: Familiarity with quantum computing frameworks and SDKs such as Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, and CUDA-Q.

• Preferred: Understanding of quantum information science, its applications, and algorithms.

• Preferred: Experience with SaaS platforms, REST APIs, and/or High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems.

• Preferred: Proficiency in SQL and experience in data science or data analytics.

• Preferred: Background in creating customer-facing content and delivering technical presentations.
