This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conducts quantitative research, performs analysis, develops models, and validates them for various products.
• Engages in comparative analysis across different markets and geographical regions.
• Independently researches while collaborating with experts in the financial industry.
• Utilizes acquired knowledge to model various scenarios.
• Analyzes scenarios such as market effects driven by cryptocurrency fluctuations.
• A minimum of a Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, etc.) is required.
• One year of professional experience is preferred, but resumes from diverse backgrounds will be considered.
• Proficiency in Python is essential, along with familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark).
• Experience with MATLAB, R, C++, SQL, or a combination thereof to address the limitations of Python.
• Ability to articulate Python’s limitations and justify the need for developing models in alternative technologies.
• Familiarity with JavaScript would be a nice addition.
• This position is only available to candidates who are currently authorized to work in the United States.
• Paid project work allowing candidates and employers to assess mutual fit before committing to permanent employment.
