• Responsible for the development and upkeep of quantitative financial models utilized in risk measurement, income simulations, balance sheet management, and asset valuations.
• Conduct analysis of model outputs, synthesize information, and effectively communicate conclusions and recommendations to senior managers, executives, and the Board in a clear and concise manner.
• Perform testing on established models, which includes back-testing, benchmarking, sensitivity analysis, and scenario analysis.
• Create automated solutions to streamline complex and repetitive processes.
• Exercise independent judgement and discretion in decision-making.
• Analyze and resolve issues as they arise.
• Bachelor's Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering (Computer, Systems, Electronics, Electrical), or a related field.
• Over 3 years of expertise in quantitative fixed income and financial concepts, programming, financial modeling, bank balance sheet modeling, or risk management.
• Exceptional analytical abilities.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills, with a clear and concise expository style, along with advanced interpersonal relations capabilities.
• Strong project management expertise.
• Proven ability to collaborate, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks within a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
• In-depth understanding of finance concepts.
• Solid grasp of statistics and quantitative methods is preferred.
• Familiarity with fixed income securities and analytics is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with object-oriented and/or relational database programming is preferred.
