Quality Program Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Strategically plan, organize, and oversee quality-related projects to fulfill established requirements and achieve organizational goals.

• Assist in enterprise-wide quality initiatives by examining and researching potential issues related to quality metrics and health plan objectives.

• Identify suitable target populations, design health programs, develop program marketing strategies, and manage data systems.

• Suggest enhancements in quality, including modifications to existing programs and processes.

• Develop quality risk assessments and establish procedures for health plans to meet quality metrics.

• Utilize Lean 6 Sigma methodologies to detect potential issues and solutions for priority metrics across the enterprise.

• Collaborate on special initiatives and scorecard evaluations to aid in the development and execution of initiatives.

• Design, maintain, and deliver training programs focused on quality improvement for health plans.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, or a related clinical field, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience or experience in managed care/health insurance is required.

• At least 1 year of experience in quality is preferred.

• Familiarity with Medicare Stars is highly desirable.

• Preference for candidates who are Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, or Licensed Clinical Social Workers.

• CPHQ certification is preferred.
