• Proactively recognize quality risks and embed mitigation strategies within project planning and execution.

• Review project documentation and quality requirements; spearhead the development, facilitation, and continuous review of the Quality Risk Assessment Matrix (Q-RAM) and site-specific quality and testing plans.

• Collaborate with Project Supervision, subcontractors, and Quality Engineers to pinpoint gaps and actively address quality risks throughout project execution.

• Advocate for clarity by challenging assumptions when quality expectations are ambiguous or incomplete.

• Actively plan, direct, and oversee the quality of Graycor’s self-performed work.

• Conduct inspections and testing, manage punchlists, verify corrective actions, and ensure work complies with acceptance criteria.

• Make certain that work instructions and inspection processes are up-to-date, clear, and effectively implemented.

• Ensure the quality of subcontractor, fabrication, and supplier work by confirming that necessary quality systems, inspections, testing, and documentation are established and functional.

• Collaborate with the project team and senior project leadership to implement corrective and preventive measures.

• Verify that corrective actions are effective and prevent recurrence.

• Serve as a visible leader of Graycor’s Performance Excellence and Quality culture on-site.

• Reinforce consistent quality messaging during onboarding for craft and subcontractors (Zero Punchlist, 100% material verification, defect prevention).

• Exhibit the courage to halt work that jeopardizes quality and collaborate with project leadership to execute mitigation plans.

• Provide clear roles, expectations, and accountability for assigned Quality Engineers and project quality personnel.

• Guide, mentor, and deliver constructive feedback through regular check-ins and performance discussions; address underperformance directly and escalate concerns when necessary.

• Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

• Research, assess, and recommend external resources to enhance quality culture and execution.

• Develop, compose, and revise work instructions for self-performed work as required.

• Other duties as assigned.
