Quality Engineering Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain the AirHub Test Strategy

• Establish and guide the AirHub Quality Engineering practice

• Oversee contractor test engineers

• Coordinate EPA testing resources

• Take ownership of UAT test planning, execution governance, defect management, results, and quality exit criteria alongside the Implementation Lead and EPA business stakeholders

• Deliver testing results and quality standards to inform Beta and Production release readiness decisions

• Build and enhance the automated testing framework

• Supervise TestRail governance

• Define quality metrics for releases

• Organize external stakeholder testing activities

• Direct functional, integration, system, regression, automation, performance, user acceptance, and external stakeholder testing activities

• Set up the testing framework that supports Agile development and phased releases

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in software testing

• More than 8 years of experience leading enterprise QA or Quality Engineering teams

• Proven experience in implementing automated testing frameworks

• Familiarity with TestRail and Agile testing methodologies

• Background in leading UAT programs and coordinating business-user testing

• Experience in testing APIs, databases, cloud applications, and integrated enterprise systems

• Excellent leadership, facilitation, and communication abilities

• Experience in supporting Federal software delivery is preferred

• A quiet and distraction-free workspace with reliable internet access
