Quality Control Specialist – AI/ML, Malay

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Assess completed Display Transcription tasks for precision and uniformity

• Contrast Display Transcription with the original lexical transcript and project specifications

• Confirm punctuation, capitalization, numbers, dates, times, currencies, abbreviations, and text normalization

• Ensure that the original words and meanings are maintained

• Detect and rectify formatting issues or errors related to guidelines

• Utilize reference audio to resolve ambiguous situations

• Consistently apply project-specific quality standards

• Offer precise feedback and highlight recurring problems as necessary

• Fulfill assigned quality control tasks within project deadlines and productivity goals

• Exceptional writing skills in the target language

• High level of attention to detail and precision

• Strong understanding of punctuation, capitalization, and written language norms

• Capacity to identify inconsistencies and errors in formatted text

• Ability to adhere to detailed guidelines and implement them reliably

• Basic computer proficiency and a dependable internet connection

• Capability to work autonomously and achieve quality and productivity objectives

• Previous experience in transcription, proofreading, quality assurance, annotation, or linguistic projects is advantageous

• Proficiency in the Malay language as indicated by the role title and target-language requirement

• Training and project guidelines will be provided prior to the commencement of the project
