Quality Control – Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Design, plan, and manage both manual and automated testing strategies that address functional and non-functional requirements.

• Create and sustain automated test scripts and frameworks.

• Conduct thorough manual testing to identify elusive bugs and edge cases.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects.

• Act as the primary senior contact for quality assurance.

• Guide QA engineers and analysts in best practices for testing and continuous improvement.

• Facilitate client discussions regarding quality standards, test outcomes, and defect management.

• Establish risk-based testing methodologies, regression plans, and automation coverage.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers.

• Provide mentorship to junior QA team members.

• Embrace new testing tools and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and quality control.

• Demonstrated proficiency in both manual and automated testing, along with practical experience in automation frameworks.

• Capable of designing and executing test plans, test cases, and regression suites for intricate systems.

• Strong history of detecting and documenting critical bugs and edge cases.

• Experience in leading and mentoring QA teams within Agile or hybrid frameworks.

• Exceptional communication skills with clients and stakeholders.

• Proficient in bug tracking and test management tools.

• Advanced understanding of automated testing tools and scripting languages.

• Familiarity with version control; knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in regulated industries or with enterprise projects is a bonus.

• Background in performance, security, or usability testing is also a bonus.
