Quality Control Inspector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Serve as a local on-site program and company representative to residential clients under the Mass Save Home Energy Services (HES) Residential Coordinated Delivery program.

• Offer insights on available energy-saving measures through comprehensive residential energy inspections.

• Diagnose technical issues and problems in line with client specifications.

• Promote participation in the program and address any barriers to engagement.

• Travel daily within a designated territory using a company-provided vehicle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant experience in building science or a related discipline is acceptable.

• Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst certification is mandatory within 6 months of hiring; the company will provide this certification if not already obtained.

• A sign-on bonus of up to $2000 is available for candidates with BPI credentials: BA-T ($500), BA-P ($500), Energy Auditor ($500), Quality Control Inspector ($500).

• Experience in residential construction, energy conservation, HVAC, building diagnostics, air infiltration reduction, and insulation is desirable.

• The position requires flexibility to work evenings and certain Saturdays.

• Capability to frequently lift 40 pounds, ascend attic stairs, and use a small ladder to reach work areas is necessary.

• Frequent crawling in tight, confined spaces is required.

• Basic proficiency with various small hand tools is essential.

• Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, or other foreign languages is a plus.
