This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Perform daily quality inspections for pipeline, facility, mechanical, structural, and welding operations.
β’ Ensure workmanship adheres to project specifications, approved drawings, codes, standards, and client requirements.
β’ Coordinate and supervise quality testing activities, including non-destructive examination (NDE), hydrostatic testing, coating inspections, and material verification.
β’ Confirm that all materials delivered to the site are approved, properly documented, traceable, and compliant before installation.
β’ Develop and uphold Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), coordinating hold points, witness points, and client inspections.
β’ Detect non-conformance issues and support corrective actions to uphold project quality standards.
β’ Validate material traceability, equipment certifications, weld documentation, and turnover records.
β’ Maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, turnover packages, and project closeout records.
β’ Generate weekly and monthly quality reports for management and clients.
β’ Engage in client, regulatory, and third-party inspections and audits.
β’ At least 3 years of experience in Quality Inspection, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Energy Construction roles.
β’ Demonstrated experience in pipeline, facility, oil and gas, industrial, or energy infrastructure projects.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of construction quality processes, inspection protocols, testing criteria, and industry standards.
β’ Familiarity with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), quality documentation, turnover packages, and project specifications.
β’ Capability to read and interpret construction drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, specifications, and technical documentation.
β’ Knowledge of welding inspection, coating inspection, pressure testing, NDE processes, and material traceability requirements.
β’ Familiarity with CSA, ASME, API, and client-specific quality standards is a plus.
β’ Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Excellent communication and coordination skills.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and quality reporting systems.
β’ Experience in coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and third-party inspection agencies is advantageous.
β’ Preferred Certifications: CWB Welding Inspector Certification (Level 1 or Level 2), NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector Certification, CSTS, H2S Alive, First Aid, and other industry-required safety certifications. Additional quality or inspection-related certifications are a plus.
