This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Assess and analyze incoming defects reported by Quality Control testers to determine appropriate remediation actions during production.

• Collaborate closely with the Quality Management team to provide daily status updates on issues and keep the team informed about potential delays or obstacles.

• Review video and audio segments to identify possible edits in course content and communicate these findings to Course Developers.

• Examine animation inserts to ensure the content flows correctly where requested and liaise with asset capture to resolve any issues.

• Confirm defect resolutions to ensure they meet the specified requirements.

• Assess and verify package change content.

• Escalate content-related issues to management when necessary, especially when other SANS teams need to implement fixes.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to provide feedback on defects and identify opportunities to prevent them in future projects.

• Assist in data collection for training purposes and to enhance Quality Tester performance.

• Monitor and update daily production task dashboards.

• Act as a backup for the Quality Supervisor by coordinating and executing course release activities as needed.

• Perform other related tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly with remote team members, ensuring clarity and precision.

• Unrestricted authorization to work in the USA; visa sponsorship is not available.

• At least 1 year of experience in a Quality role or a related field (Preferred).

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and Smartsheet (Preferred).

• Knowledge of ServiceNow is a plus (Preferred).

• Experience with issue management software such as JIRA or Redmine is a plus (Preferred).
