This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and take ownership of frameworks that ensure continuous quality within our automated, agentic software development pipeline, enabling a proactive approach to quality that is self-sustaining.
• Establish a thorough QA strategy centered on reliability, scalability, and performance. Define quality metrics and spearhead ongoing enhancements.
• Create and execute tests that assess system uptime, load capacity, latency, and performance degradation under stress, ensuring the platform is equipped for expansion.
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks for regression, integration, and performance testing, seamlessly integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Recognize systemic risks, edge cases, and issues affecting users, prioritizing critical factors for product reliability.
• Conduct targeted testing in areas not yet automated and collaborate with developers to ensure code correctness and optimize performance.
• Ensure consistent functionality and performance across various browsers, devices, and environments.
• Document, triage, and manage issues with an emphasis on root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Create frameworks to assess AI output quality and stability, ensuring predictable behavior at scale.
• Investigate outages, incidents, and defects that have escaped detection, enhancing system reliability and testing processes over time.
• Promote the idea that quality is a shared responsibility and mentor others in testing and reliability best practices.
• A minimum of 5 years in QA, including over 2 years in a senior or lead role driving systemic quality initiatives.
• A strong foundation in reliability, load testing, and performance profiling, extending beyond functional QA.
• Demonstrated experience in building and scaling automated test frameworks, including performance and stress tests, fully integrated with CI/CD processes.
• Proficiency in reading logs, monitoring metrics, and collaborating with developers to identify root causes of performance or stability challenges.
• Expertise in prioritizing risks, identifying potential failure modes, and recommending systemic solutions rather than temporary fixes.
• An exceptional communicator capable of aligning engineering, product, and leadership teams around quality objectives and risk management.
• Ability to iterate rapidly while maintaining high standards for quality and reliability.
