Quality Assurance Engineer – USD Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Evaluate existing products to identify any shortcomings.

• Propose solutions for the product issues that have been identified.

• Examine product quality to implement enhancements that lead to improved customer satisfaction.

• Develop, implement, and oversee the comprehensive Quality Planning strategy.

• Work in conjunction with the Product Development team to ensure consistent execution of projects.

• Detect bottlenecks in the quality assurance process and recommend improvements.

• Supervise continuous improvement initiatives.

• Gather quality-related data.

• Determine key performance indicators (KPIs) for product quality.

• Prepare and deliver reports and metrics to Senior Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.

• At least 2 years of experience with Voice over IP applications.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing various testing techniques, including UI Testing, Backend Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies, and others.

• Over 1 year of coding experience in JAVA, Javascript, HTML5, CouchDB, and Erlang.

• At least 2 years of experience with software QA tools and methodologies.

• A strong sense of ownership and pride in your work and its contribution to the company’s success.

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Strong time-management skills.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

• Nice to have:

• Experience with JIRA and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Familiarity with one or more server-side programming languages.

• Knowledge of VoIP platforms and their functionalities.

• Experience in Linux system administration.
