QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing across various products and projects.

• Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Senior QA Engineers to ensure requirements are testable and meet quality standards.

• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and relevant documentation.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects until resolution using QA and project management tools.

• Assist in testing third-party integrations, APIs, and data workflows to verify functionality and reliability.

• Contribute to test automation efforts by identifying automation opportunities and managing automated test scripts.

• Aid in investigating production issues, conducting root cause analysis, and validating fixes.

• Offer usability and customer experience insights to enhance product quality and user satisfaction.

• Engage in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities as a quality advocate.

• Collaborate across various teams and projects, providing testing support as business priorities dictate.

• Advocate for quality best practices, process enhancements, and continuous testing initiatives.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools and technologies to boost testing efficiency and effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5+ years of Quality Assurance experience in Agile software development settings.

• Proficient in testing web applications, SaaS platforms, and software integrations.

• Strong grasp of QA methodologies, testing processes, and software development lifecycles.

• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Shortcut, TestRail, or comparable platforms.

• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and a working knowledge of JSON and XML.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities and quickly adapting in a dynamic environment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
