Senior Test Analyst – QA, Test Strategy, Retail, ERP Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define and implement testing strategies based on risk assessment.

• Collaborate with the team to develop test plans and strategies that align with project goals.

• Establish and maintain traceability matrices linking requirements to tests.

• Engage in AS-IS analyses and outline TO-BE scenarios.

• Analyze and verify both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Create and manage test cases utilizing BDD methodology.

• Conduct manual testing on web systems, mobile applications, and REST/SOAP APIs.

• Log, monitor, and assist in resolving defects identified during the testing cycle.

• Ensure compliance with the quality policies and procedures established for the project.

• Identify root causes of quality issues and suggest corrective and preventive measures.

• Monitor quality metrics and performance indicators.

• Prepare executive summaries and status reports on testing progress.

• Promote continuous enhancement of QA processes.

• Support automation testing initiatives aimed at optimizing efforts and increasing coverage.

• Extensive experience with risk-based testing strategies.

• Proficient in requirements validation.

• Skilled in creating BDD scenarios.

• Experience in manual testing of APIs and applications.

• Strong analytical abilities to ensure quality delivery in agile environments.

• Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals, techniques, and strategies.

• Experience in defining entry and exit criteria (DoR / DoD).

• Expertise in risk-based testing strategies.

• Advanced knowledge of various levels and types of testing.

• Ability to interpret and validate requirements outlined in user stories.

• Experience in creating and maintaining test scenarios using BDD.

• Proficient in executing manual tests on REST and SOAP APIs using Postman.

• Experience in conducting manual tests on mobile applications.

• Familiarity with tracking and activity management tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Mantis.

• Experience with agile methodologies: Scrum, Kanban.

• Experience in preparing status reports.

• Effective communication skills with technical teams and business stakeholders.
