QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Comprehensive manual testing throughout the entire lifecycle of a mobile free-to-play project, including testing new features and mechanics, conducting regression tests, and performing acceptance testing.

• Development, maintenance, and updates of test documentation such as test cases and checklists.

• Documentation and reporting of identified issues along with preparation of test reports.

• Close cooperation with the development team to ensure seamless workflows.

• Oversight of build stability and the overall quality of the product.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in mobile game testing on Android and/or iOS platforms, with a strong comprehension of the complete release cycle and QA processes.

• Knowledge of sandbox/survival game characteristics, including open world dynamics, crafting and loot systems, as well as PvP/PvE mechanics.

• Familiarity with client-server architecture and experience in testing online/network gameplay.

• Hands-on experience with QA tools and workflows, including:

• bug tracking and test management systems (Jira, TestRail);

• analytics platforms (Firebase, AppMetrica, GameAnalytics);

• emulators (Bluestacks, Nox, etc.);

• CI/CD systems (GitLab, TeamCity).

• Experience utilizing development and debugging tools such as Android Studio, adb, logcat, Xcode, and Unity (basic navigation, assets, and component logic).

• Understanding of network traffic analysis tools (Charles, Fiddler, Wireshark) and version control systems (Git: pull, fetch, log).

• Excellent communication skills, ability to thrive in a multitasking environment, prioritize tasks efficiently, and maintain a keen attention to detail.

• Experience with AI tools (Claude, Gemini).

• Proficiency in programming languages (C#, Python).

• Proficient in English at B1+ level and Russian at C1 level.
