Quality Assurance Engineer, Mid-Senior, Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of manual and exploratory testing for iOS and Android platforms.

• Develop and manage test plans, test cases, and regression testing suites.

• Assess mobile-specific functionalities, such as notifications, deep links, permissions, app lifecycle, and network variations.

• Conduct testing of mobile integrations with backend services and APIs.

• Document, prioritize, and monitor defects in collaboration with developers and product managers.

• Design and sustain automated tests for essential user journeys.

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• Play a role in release decision-making and the ongoing enhancement of QA processes.

• Aid in identity protection, early threat detection, and recovery support through Coveron’s identity theft protection service.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software QA, particularly in mobile application testing.

• Practical experience with testing on both iOS and Android platforms.

• Comprehensive understanding of manual, exploratory, regression, and integration testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with API testing tools, including Postman.

• Experience with at least one mobile automation framework, such as XCUITest, Espresso, UIAutomator, or Appium.

• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Bonus: Experience in security, privacy, identity, or financial products.
