This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Work in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that requirements for all tasks are clear, comprehensive, and testable.
• Create comprehensive test plans, strategies, and scenarios that encompass functional, regression, integration, performance testing, and edge cases.
• Conduct manual and exploratory testing to verify intricate workflows, integrations, new features, and bug fixes.
• Investigate and address software defects alongside developers, providing clear documentation and actionable recommendations.
• Lead API testing to guarantee data integrity, accuracy, security, and smooth application integration.
• Develop and enhance automated testing frameworks to boost automation coverage and maintain regression suites across various products.
• Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute performance and load testing to assess system scalability, stability, and responsiveness, ensuring alignment with performance benchmarks.
• Mentor and support junior QA Engineers by sharing knowledge on testing best practices, test case design, and automation techniques.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and lead discussions on testing for complex features to ensure QA alignment across projects.
• Identify areas for process enhancements; propose and implement changes to improve the efficiency and quality of testing activities.
• Utilize metrics and reporting tools to assess testing progress, identify coverage gaps, and boost testing effectiveness.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to validate builds and ensure that production deployments are ready for release.
• Present testing outcomes, technical challenges, achievements, and product quality metrics during stakeholder demonstrations.
• Communicate and collaborate across cross-functional teams to synchronize development and testing efforts.
• Facilitate discussions to unify stakeholders regarding testing results, challenges, and quality objectives.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least nine (9) years of experience in designing, developing, and executing test strategies and plans for software.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in developing, executing, and maintaining automated testing software.
• Proficiency in various testing methodologies, such as functional, regression, integration, performance, and load testing, along with validation of new features.
• Experience in testing both back-end services and front-end user interfaces.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., JMeter, Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, SOAP-UI, automated RESTFUL API testing, etc.).
• Proficient in using MS SQL queries for backend validation.
• Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and relevant tools (e.g., Jira, Kanban).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment while working well under pressure.
• Must successfully complete a federal Position of Public Trust Level 5 background investigation.
• Preferred qualifications: Experience with healthcare-related software.
• Knowledge of Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) or HL7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resource (FHIR), including the FHIR REST API.
• Familiarity with the Enterprise JavaScript technology stack.
• Experience with Java technologies (e.g., Eclipse/IntelliJ, JPA, Maven, Spring Boot).
