This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct thorough pre-submission quality assurance evaluations of FHA, VA, USDA, and Supplemental claims.
• Confirm the accuracy of claim elements, which include loan and policy information, claim calculations and reconciliations, advances and recoverable balances, as well as the completeness of supporting documentation.
• Finalize reconciliation of advances and verify precision prior to claim submission.
• Ensure all necessary documentation complies with agency, investor, and regulatory standards.
• Identify and rectify discrepancies, errors, or absent information prior to submission.
• Maintain precise and transparent records of QA assessments, findings, and daily output.
• Execute internal QA audits on claims before submission to guarantee adherence to quality standards.
• Examine trends in claim errors and offer insights to facilitate training and enhance processes.
• Partner with claims processors, servicing teams, and leadership to address issues and optimize workflows.
• Assist with system updates related to claim preparation and pre-filing readiness.
• Support post-submission processes, including inquiries related to missing documentation or agency requests as necessary.
• Monitor and document QA outcomes, ensuring accurate records in internal systems.
• Oversee assigned workflow queues and adhere to established turnaround times.
• Conduct research to address issues affecting claim accuracy and completeness.
• Comply with confidentiality standards and data integrity regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in FHA, VA, USDA, and Supplemental foreclosure claims QA/QC testing and/or filing.
• Robust understanding of mortgage servicing practices and the claims lifecycle and requirements.
• Familiarity with foreclosure procedures and relevant guidelines.
• Exceptional attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and error avoidance.
• Capability to analyze, identify, and resolve discrepancies independently.
• Strong time management and prioritization abilities.
• Competence in making informed decisions and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
